Like a duck to water....

Brayden had his first dip in the pool last thursday at our friends house. Faron and Brayden went over for a party, while I was at work, so I missed his first time in the pool. But thanks to my wonderful husband, he took these beautiful pictures! So it really feels like I was there.

Brayden has such a blast with bathtime, he must have been beside himself with excitment once he got into the pool. Faron said he had so much fun and wasn't one bit afraid of the water.

I had to share these pictures. I thought they were too cute! This little guys is just growing, growing, growing! Saturday we woke up, and decided to go to the St. Augustine flea market. First we stopped off for breakfast at Shoney's. Once we were there, we remembered why we don't go there very often. It is packed with people ( usually not the cream of the crop) all wedged in a line around the buffet. The people are reaching over you and commenting on everything... I was having a hard time not getting irritated. All this was after we waited a good ten minutes before the hostess had seated us without letting our waitress know we were even there.

Anyhow.. the food was pretty good, and Brayden was such a champ. He had breakfast before we left, but while I was eating, you would have never known it! He was like a little baby bird! He had a little bit of chicken, biscuit, pancake, melon, ect. I was really proud of him, because I try to give him table food at home, and he does alright, but most of the time I end up wasting food. So, I was obviously pleased by his adventurous appetite. The flea market was hot, but it was still fun just being together. And it was a good way to walk off our breakfast =)

Sunday was really nice as well, because we had church at 9am , for a special combonation meeting (with another ward that we share a building with while ours is being renovated). We rode up with Faron's Granny, and got there early so we could get a decent seat. They ended up reasigning the boundries of our two wards, which everyone had been anticipating. It was a pretty historic day, and just another testiment of how the church is growing, especially in our area. I for once didn't have to work that night, so it was so nice to come home and just do nothing. We just hung out together and enjoyed time as a family. It can't be any better than that, right?

Oh, Brayden is so dang cute and what a perfect smile he has! I like the duck too! Where'd you find that? So I was thinking, we should go to the flea market when I come out. That'd be fun!
