8-25-07 The Birthday Party
We thought this was so cute! He is actually sleeping like this right before we woke him up the morning of the party.
Brayden excited to see all of his presents from mommy and Daddy ( some from relatives from out of town too), but mostly ecited about the wrapping! Little did he know the many gifts that would await him later on that day!
The party was held at Granny waddoup's house. We did at Baby Einstein themed Party, with lots of bright primary colors.

He was really tired due to the fact that he took no nap that day. So he had just thrown a fit of crankiness, right before we put him in the high chair and sang to him. I put his cake in front of him, and normally he grabs at food right away. It took him a minute, but then he quickly realized what to do. By the look on his face, he's not sure if he's allowed or not.Enjoy watching him "take the cake"

THE BIRTHDAY BOY!!!
Well, the party was a success. I was running low on sleep, and running around town getting last minute stuff. I was of course late getting things decorated, and was finishing up everything while guest arrived. I had issues with the cake, and a couple of other things, but all in all, it worked out fine. I really didn't see much of Brayden because everyone else was enjoying him. We had so many friends and family come! I feel so blessed! Faron was such a big help, he grilled out in the hot sun, over the hot grill, and the food was so good. Thank you to everyone that contributed in any way! He had so much fun! Once he had a nap and we got home, he had so much fun going from toy to toy. He got clothes, big toys, small toys, money... The kid made out!

8-23-07 BRAYDEN'S FIRST BIRTHDAY!
Happy Birthday!I was in my second day of nursing school, so Granny kept him that morning. His Party wasn't until Saturday, so we celebrated by giving him a much needed haircut! He was sporing a little mullet, so we thought it was time.With his new big boy hair cut, we then went to the mall, and got his one year old pictures taken at Sears. He was a bit of a cranky pants, so it made picking a picture much easier! We bought the first one she took. It turned out really cute! I'll have to post it later.
